All Rolf Heide's classic pieces dating from those days are now being relaunched under the modular brand name. The move is not related to any shortterm romantic fad for "Retro" but quite simply confirms that Rolf Heide's design philosophy is still highly relevant to a flexible, independent and mobile lifestyle.
This has been ture these last 40 years. There are two reasons for that: Heide' designs are determined by the harmony between form and function, and through an ingenious process of reduction he has made them independent of fashions and hence long-lasting.
The modular principle enables people to adapt repeatedly to new homes and new spaces. All the system components are compact and can be dismantled without any complications. Namely they are very mobile.
